Let us take you on a boat excursion to Don Det. Travel downstream comfortably by boat, enjoy the River’s pleasant cool and let your gaze wander over the picturesque landscape.

Spend the night in selected hotels offering a magnificent view of the Mekong River. The early riser will experience an unforgettable sunrise. Our tour will take us to Champasak where we will pay a visit to the Wat Phou temple, which has been inscribed on the UNESCO world heritage list since 2001.

In the late afternoon of the second day, we will reach the island of Don Khong, which we will explore during the evening hours. The third day of our tour will take us to the area of 4000 islands (Si Phan Don). The scenery here is unique and if we are lucky, we will be able to observe the rare Irawadi dolphins, the mermaids of the Mekong, in their natural habitat.

We will reach Don Det before lunch hour on the third day of our tour downstream. This is the ideal point of departure to go and visit the waterfalls of Li Phi and Khone Phapheng.

In the afternoon of the third day, we travel back to Pakse. En route, we will stop to take a tour through the jungle on the back of an elephant. In the late evening, we will arrive back at our point of departure, Pakse.
